Yogyakarta, 17, 19, dan 20 Agustus 2025 — SMA Kolese De Britto dan SMA Stella Duce 1 Yogyakarta merayakan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-77 secara kolaboratif dengan mengusung tema “ARSARA”. Nama ARSARA berasal dari tiga kata: Asa (harapan), Raga (aksi nyata), dan Svara (suara hati). Ketiganya menjadi bingkai makna dan spiritualitas dalam rangkaian kegiatan perayaan. ARSARA dimaknai sebagai ajakan untuk mewujudkan harapan melalui tindakan konkret serta membuka ruang bagi mereka yang kerap terpinggirkan untuk bersuara dan dihidupi dengan kasih.
Yogyakarta, August 17, 19, and 20, 2025 — SMA Kolese De Britto and SMA Stella Duce 1 Yogyakarta jointly celebrated their 77th anniversary under the theme “ARSARA.” The name ARSARA is derived from three words: Asa (Hope), Raga (Concrete Action), and Svara (Voice/Conscience). Together, these words form the framework of meaning and spirituality for the series of celebratory events. ARSARA is understood as a call to realize hope through concrete action and to create space for those often marginalized to speak and to be cherished with love.
Tema: Walking with the Excluded
Perayaan ini mengangkat tema “Walking with the Excluded” yang sejalan dengan Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAP) Serikat Yesus. Tema ini menegaskan semangat berjalan bersama mereka yang terpinggirkan agar kembali dirangkul, dipersatukan, dan disembuhkan. Semangat itu ibarat lilin kecil: sederhana, namun mampu memberi terang melalui cinta, solidaritas, dan keberanian.
Latar Belakang Kolaborasi
- Sejarah: Kedua sekolah berawal dari SMA Kanisius Yogyakarta (1948). Pasca perang, sekolah putra dikelola Yesuit dengan nama SMA Kolese De Britto, sedangkan bagian putri diasuh Suster Carolus Borromeus dengan nama SMA Stella Duce 1. Sejak 1962, Stella Duce berada di bawah Yayasan Tarakanita, sedangkan De Britto tetap bersama Yayasan De Britto.
- Nilai Bersama: Kolaborasi ini menghidupi nilai Compassion, baik dalam 1L+5C (De Britto) maupun Cc5+ (Stella Duce), yang menekankan keberpihakan pada yang miskin, lemah, dan tersisih.
- Generasi Z: Di tengah kepedulian sosial yang tinggi namun sering berhenti di tataran awareness, kegiatan ini menjadi ruang bagi siswa untuk mengubah kepedulian menjadi aksi nyata.
Theme: Walking with the Excluded
The celebration adopted the theme “Walking with the Excluded,” which is in line with the Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAP) of the Society of Jesus. The theme emphasizes the spirit of accompanying those on the margins of society in order to embrace, reunite, and heal them. This spirit is likened to a small candle: simple, yet able to radiate light through love, solidarity, and courage.
Background of the Collaboration
- History: Both schools trace their origins to SMA Kanisius Yogyakarta (1948). After the war, the boys’ section was entrusted to the Jesuits and became SMA Kolese De Britto, while the girls’ section was overseen by the Sisters of Carolus Borromeus and became SMA Stella Duce 1. Since 1962, Stella Duce has been under the Tarakanita Foundation, while De Britto has remained under the De Britto Foundation.
- Shared Values: This collaboration embodies the value of Compassion, central to both De Britto’s 1L+5C and Stella Duce’s Cc5+ frameworks, which emphasize siding with the poor, the weak, and the marginalized.

17 Agustus 2025 — Upacara Peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-80 Republik Indonesia diselenggarakan di lapangan SMA Kolese De Britto dengan mengenakan busana profesi, busana adat, dan busana nusantara.
August 17, 2025 — The Commemoration Ceremony of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia was held at the field of SMA Kolese De Britto, featuring professional, traditional, and national attire.
19 Agustus 2025 — Perayaan berupa Misa Syukur, penampilan tari kolosal “De Britto dalam Harmoni Nusantara,” serta pentas seni yang menghadirkan karya siswa, alumni, dan pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM).
August 19, 2025 — The celebration featured a Thanksgiving Mass, a grand dance performance titled “De Britto in the Harmony of the Archipelago,” and an art showcase presenting works by students, alumni, and local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
20 Agustus 2025 — Rangkaian kegiatan meliputi donor darah, pasar murah, thrifting, melukis, bakti sosial di berbagai lokasi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, penanaman pohon di Pantai Trisik, serta lokakarya kreatif di SMA Kolese De Britto.
August 20, 2025 — The series of activities included a blood donation drive, a low-cost market, thrifting, painting, social service initiatives across various locations in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, tree planting at Trisik Beach, and creative workshops at SMA Kolese De Britto.
